The solid nylon walls will provide enhanced protection from wind, dust, and blowing rain/snow. They are ideal for windy desert conditions, harsh blowing rain, and winter weather.
Compared to the standard mesh version, this solid-paneled inner is about an ounce heavier for the 1P version and two ounces heavier for the 2P version.
